Rules of good behaviour
At the port
Being a Fisherman or a yachtsman, have an appropriate behaviour in the marina.
Place your toxic solid and liquid wastes at the dump site and use the port sanitary.
Empty your dirty water reservoirs into the pumping stations and use eco-aware cleaning products.
Ensure that any maintenance operation (boat, equipment) is done in respect to the environment.
Handle all liquids that may pollute when being decanted with care.
On the sea
The sea covers 70% of the surface of the Earth. It is vast and constitutes a place where hundreds of thousands of animals and plants live.
Submarine species are fragile. You can observe them, but avoid touching them and disturbing them.
A respectful fisherman is someone who fishes with moderation and who throws back the fish which have not reached their adult size to the sea.
If you are a yachtsman, first get some information about the nature of the bottom before making port and prefer the use of mooring buoys.
Any nautic sports activity can be fatal to the environment. Contact specialists to find out the proper behaviour to have on a natural site.
